Jones Beach State Park

In addition to a dazzling 6.5-mile Atlantic Ocean beachfront, this world-class 2,413-acre recreational area in Wantagh features deck games, miniature golf and beach volleyball. The wide two-mile-long Boardwalk is a popular place to walk for both pleasure and exercise in the invigorating salt air. The West End accommodates surf fishing and has a boat basin. visitors can see environmental displays and take tours at The Theodore Roosevelt Nature Center, also within the park.
